About how long is the typical production time frame?
The breakdown for the typical production time for my pins varies depending on the complexity of the designs and which manufacturers I use.
However, a general estimate is roughly about 2-4 months from start to finish for an order of 80-100 pcs per design. This includes casting the mold, filling in the enamel, and electroplating and polishing.
From there, once the pins are done they are shipped to me in under two weeks.

How long will it take to ship orders out?
Once I receive all the necessary components for orders (the pins, freebies, boxes, etc) and have done a complete inventory check and graded all of the stock, it will take roughly about 2-3 months to ship everything out fully.
Should things proceed smoothly, that wait time could be shortened. All updates will be shared via Kickstarter and Discord.

What happens if my package becomes lost or damaged in the postage system?
Depending on if there are enough A grades in the extra stock, we will work to replace any lost or damaged pin after being shown proof of your claim. If there is no extra stock, then we will refund the amount instead.
When it comes to damaged pins, we would like you to email us a photo of your damaged pin for proof at [email protected], and from there we will send out another pin accordingly.

Is it possible to cancel a pledge after the campaign has ended?
No, it is not possible to cancel a pledge after the kickstarter has been completed. If you would like to request a refund, please contact us at [email protected] to make special arrangements.

How do the ‘freebies’ work?
For those individuals who have pledged for any of the main Hansei pins, it works as a 1:1 ratio. So for example, if someone pledged for 3 pins, they will receive 3 plant filler pins that correspond to the characters they’ve chosen. In this particular case you do not have to pay anything extra.
For the individuals who bought the filler pins but none of the Hansei pins, you will be able to choose which designs you’d like.
The final option is for plant filler add-ons. If you are adding on a plant filler pin to your order the add on option will let you choose which variation you would like.

Are these pins limited edition?
Yes! These pins will be limited edition. The stock will be determined by how many orders need to be fulfilled plus a small percentage of extras for grading and emergency purposes.

Will there be extras from this project and will they be for sale on backers?
We are currently still deciding on what we would like to do with the Hansei pin extras, but it’s very likely they will not go on sale for these particular pins.The extra omamori charms and filler pins, however, will go on sale.

Will I be able to get more pins/charms after the Kickstarter ends?
Unfortunately, the main pins are limited edition and therefore will not be restocked once inventory has been sold out. However, we do intend to restock the filler pins (the flower pins) and the omamori charms.

As of the immediate future there is no plan, however, we do look forward to designing more pins for this series once we are able.

Will I be able to share information and pictures of the finished products after I receive them?
Yes! After rewards are sent out and all pledges are fulfilled, everyone is welcome to share their review or pictures of the products! Since it would signify the end of the campaign duration, there is low risk of running into any issues. We welcome all feedback!

What is BackerKit?
BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!

How does BackerKit work?
After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.
I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.
When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?
That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.
I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?
